Extreme Sale on Activewear & Lingerie Materials in Baltimore This Week ONLY!

Ok, I nearly passed out with excitement when I was digging through and buying a carload of fabrics this morning here in Baltimore at a warehouse sale.  Thanks to the amazing tip from Cidell of Miss Celie's Pants I headed over to a factory in Pigtown and some cash to check out the selection.  I picked up about 90 yards of materials for $48 total-- this included about 50 yards of good to very high quality technical fabrics (nylon/spandex, powermesh, swimwear material, stretch mesh, fleece, poly/spandex, various lycras, etc), 20 yards of stretch and non-stretch lace for lingerie sewing, 20 yards lace lingerie elastic (for undies and what not) and two zippers.  I normally have paid $8-14/yard for similar technical fabric.  They had it marked $1/yard with sizable remnants even less per yard, lace 50 cents/ yard, zippers 10 cents each.

What is it?  A factory warehouse sale put on by local clothing manufacturer Fashions Unlimited.  On a not-so-regular basis they will sell off any extras and overruns of samples, clothing, fabric, remnants zippers, laces and various odd bits.  They look to make garments for well known national and international clothing companies. They seem to mainly work in activewear and lingerie, so they offer materials related to this.

Where is this place? It's Fashions Unlimited located at 1100 Wicomico St #535, Baltimore, MD 21230.  There are signs posted as you walk into the building telling you exactly where to go.  On street parking in front of the building (I had no problem getting a spot.)

What are the dates and time?  It runs August 12- 16th from 8 am- 2:30 PM.  There are two days left, people.

I'm off to dig through my bounty of material to see exactly what I dragged home!  I hope you all can get to the sale before it's over this week and before it's all gone.
