Baltimore Threadquarters: A New Fiber Arts Store in Town

Attention Baltimore and other Mid-Atlantic seamstresses and creative folks... Baltimore Threadquarters, a new fiber arts supply store will be opening in Baltimore on Saturday, March 1st!!  I'm so excited I can't stand it!  There is nothing like this in my neck of the woods (that I know of, anyhow.)  They will carry an eclectic selection of fabric, yarn, embroidery floss, and sewing supplies along with handmade buttons, knitting needles, crochet hooks, shawl pins, and spinning tools and a distinctive line of vintage fiber arts supplies spanning more than five generations of tools and notions.  They are planning art openings, craft trunk shows, workshops, classes, sewing machine rentals (eventually) and monthly crafternoons.

They are located 518 S. Conkling Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21224.  Find more info on their website, Facebook page, Twitter and Ravelry.

  3. Ooo, sounds like fun. I don't usually have much reason to go up to Baltimore, but I may have to keep this in mind. I agree with cuckoochanel, please let us know how it is. :)

  4. I STILL haven't been! I 'liked' them on facebook and they keep posting so many awesome things they are stocking their shelves with and the various classes they offer. I'm nervous to go because I will have a hard time walking away without spending more money then I should.
